CornFest chairmen are looking for people interested in finding out what their valuables are worth. Held at the Kiwanis Park in downtown Union City Sept. 17 from 3-5 p.m., the “Antique or Junktique” event will require area residents to submit information and photos prior to the event. Photographs can be e-mailed to antiquesorjunktiques@yahoo.com or dropped off at Peddler’s Mart  at 222 South First St. in downtown Union City.
Call 592-0992 or (731) 613-1267 for additional information.
Those with mystery items can submit up to three of their possessions for a $5 fee. The event is sponsored by Antiques on the Avenue, A&B Antiques, Fantastic Finds and Peddler’s Mart.
A “What’s It?” contest has been added, with great prizes available to the winners.
Music in the Park will follow in the evening.
“Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening in the park,” says event organizer Sherry Braswell.
