TSPN event slated

The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network is hosting the annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Day at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 15 in the Vince Gill Room at Belmont University’s Curb Event Center, located at 2002 Belmont Blvd. in Nashville. The meeting of the TSPN Advisory Council will follow.
The event will include addresses from survivors of suicide and suicide attempts, as well as TSPN leaders. The Regional Suicide Prevention Awards will be presented at this event, along with the Madge and Ken Tullis Suicide Prevention Award, which recognizes contributions on the statewide level. Also, the “Love Never Dies” memorial quilts will be on display.
A light luncheon will immediately follow the ceremony.
RSVPs will be necessary at this event since it is a catered affair. These may be sent to the TSPN central office at tspn@tspn.org.
