Tony Prince – Ward 1 Alderman candidate
Local businessman Tony Prince is announcing his intent to run for Alderman in Martin’s Ward I.
Prince graduated from Westview High School in 1986. Prince has owned and operated Mattress Gallery and Video Store in six locations for the last 19 years.
The candidate is the son of Virginia Prince and the late John Prince of Martin. He and his wife, Misty, have two children, Brandon and Ryan, and are expecting their third in October.
They attend Second Baptist Church in Union City.
Prince says he believes in the future of Martin.
“We need good strong leadership on the board. Martin has made great strides the past few years but we can do better,” said Prince.
Prince explained that the City of Martin needed to put people back to work and always put Martin first.
“We need more retail facilities for our citizens to shop, and we need more quality eating establishments that have a family atmosphere.
“We need stronger paving programs in place.”
Prince asks the citizens of Martin for their vote and support on Nov. 2 during the City of Martin’s municpal election, and says that “everyone can work together for the future of Martin.”
