5k race, walk planned Posted: Friday, September 3, 2010 3:40 pm The 2010 Soybean Festival 1 mile kids run will be held at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K Road Race and 5K Walk will be held at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Martin Recreation Complex softball parking area, south of Martin on US 45E near Westview High School. Free t-shirts will be given to all registered entries. Trophies and ribbons will be presented in the various age groups for the 5K run. Entry fee are for the 5K $12 in advance and $18 on race day. Entry fee for the 5K walk and kids run is $8. Forms are available at the following event sponsors Ken-Tenn Sports, Sideline Physical Therapy and Fitness Center, Martin Kiwanis member or by calling 587-9153. , |
