Shirley Temple Jordan, 73, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Hickman, Ky., died Aug. 30, 2010, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City, with interment following in East View Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at Scales & Sons Funeral Home at 318 State St. in Murfreesboro from 1-5 p.m. Friday and friends may call there 5-7 p.m. Friday. The body will also lie in state at the church from noon-1 p.m. Saturday.
She was born June 29, 1936, in Hickman, daughter of the late Clay and Georgia (Modley) Brown. She was the wife of Thomas James Jordan, who survives. She had been employed at the former Salant & Salant Co. for 25 years.
Survivors also include five daughters, Norma Jean Hampton, Diane Stockard, Ollie Mae Jordan, Janice Ruth Jernigan and Sharon Lynn Jordan; three sons, Roy Lester Jordan, James Edward Jordan and Henry Lee Jordan; seven sisters; seven brothers; and 19 grandchildren.
