Completed arrangements are being announced for Timmy Martin, 51, of Fulton, who died Aug. 28, 2010, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Greater Antioch Baptist Church in Fulton, with the Revs. Jessie Johnson and Floyd Green officiating. Burial will follow there in Greenlea Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 5-8 this evening.
Rawls Funeral Home in South Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Cheirs, George Harris, Bruce Elam, Gerald Marney, Tony Ratliff and James Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Nicholson, Luke Morris, Larry McKinney, Jewel Martin Sr., David Martin, Craig Shipman, Kenneth Nicholson, Kurtis Nicholson, Eric Nicholson, Frank Thomas, Jamie Young and Larry Alexander.
He was born June 11, 1959, in Fulton, son of Hazel (Martin) Morris of Fulton and E.C. Mason of Ft. Wayne, Ind. He attended the former Cayce (Ky.) Elementary School and graduated from Fulton County High School in Hickman, Ky.
He was a former employee of Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton and was currently employed by Tyson Foods. He was a Baptist.
He is also survived by his wife, Dorothy (Nicholson) Martin of Fancy Farm, Ky.; two daughters, Jesseka Nicholson of Fulton and Charity Shelton of Clinton, Ky.; two sons and his daughter-in-law, Bryan Martin of Fulton and John and Angela Farmer of South Fulton; his brother and sister-in-law, Stacey and Elizabeth Easley of South Fulton; his sister, Jacquelyn Mason of Wingo, Ky.; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
