Posted: Tuesday, August 31, 2010 8:01 pm GARDEN TOUR — The Northwest Tennessee Master Gardeners and guests recently toured P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home Retreat in Roland, Ark. The tour included a guided tour of the home, an al fresco catered luncheon and complete access to tour all the grounds and gardens. While in Little Rock, the Pulaski County Master Gardeners treated the local gardeners to tours of some of their gardening projects, including the gardens at the Governor’s Mansion, The Old Mill and the Gardens at Wildwood. Master Gardeners traveling were (not in picture order) John Abernathy, Janie Alexander, Tracey Batey, Katie Beck, tour coordinator Paula Breeden, Betty Britt, Rita Buckles, Carolyn Deck, Susan Fowler, Sherry Headden, Betsy Henderson, Josephine Keightley, Lilly Kimbell, Bob Mahan, Brenda Mahan, Vickie McKnight, Ann Moore, Anita Oliver, Ken Pitts, Judi Pitts, Barbara Robinson, Deby Sanger, Betty Smith, Vickie Swift, Liz Wicker, Tommy Wicker, Brenda Williams, Lois Workman, Martha Workman and driver Larry Parks. Guests from First Community Bank in Clinton, Ky., were Tilly Coffman, Nancy Davis, Morgan Davis, tour planner Mary Ann Elliott, Betty Grogan, Cherry Grubbs, Joan Harper, Kate House, Sandy Kelly, Susan Lemons, Reba Scott, Faye Spraggs and Sally Ward.
