Completed arrangements are being announced for Dora Mae Wilkins, 69, of Union City. She died Aug. 29, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rawls Funeral Home in Union City, with the Rev. Eugene Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
She was born June 6, 1941, in Obion County, daughter of the late R.D. and Lillie (Slayton) Cawthon. She was a homemaker who attended Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Union City. She was the widow of Clarence Wilkins Sr.
Survivors include two brothers and her sister-in-law, Richard Cawthon of Union City and Joe Mack and Bessie Cawthon of South Fulton; three stepsons, Joe Wilkins and Dean Wilkins, both of Paducah, Ky., and Clarence Wilkins Jr. of Union City; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Cawthon and Martha Marie Cawthon.
