Miss Jett, Burns to wed

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Lindsey Nichole Jett of Newbern and Travis Barrett Burns of Dyersburg are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Perry and Mitzi Jett of Newbern. She is the granddaughter of Oletha Dunahoo and the late Perry Dunahoo of Obion, Don and Faye Murrah of Morristown and Polly Jett and the late Paul Jett of Union City. Her great-grandmother is Irene Johnson of Union City.
She is a 2005 graduate of Dyer County High School. She is a student at the  University of Tennessee at Martin.
The groom-elect is the son of Travis and Lori Burns of Dyersburg and Marisa and Keith Oatsvall of Newbern. His grandparents are the late Paul and Gaithel Burns and James and Peggy Hardin, all of Dyersburg.
He is a 2002 graduate of Dyersburg High School.
He is employed by Pro Mo Lawns and Landscaping.
The couple will exchange vows 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at Newbern United Methodist Church.
