Pauline Ray, 89, of Dyersburg, formerly of South Fulton, died 8 p.m. Aug. 19, 2010, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services were set for 11 a.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
She was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of the late Vick and Lula Mae (Moore) Henderson. She was the widow of Roland Ray, who died Dec. 11, 1979, and was a lifelong resident of this area.
She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church and had been employed at the former Beverly Nursing Home in Union City, where she worked in the housekeeping department.
Survivors include her daughter, Lou Ella Ray of Dyersburg; her son and daughter-in-law, James G. and Randi Ray of Knoxville; her grandson, James Michael Ray; her brother, Paul Henderson of Fulton; and two sisters, Dorothy Chestnut and Nell Rosenburg, both of Salt Lake City.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ed Henderson, Will D. Henderson and Leon Henderson; and four sisters, Dean Pannell, Allean Dunn, Marine Mathis and Kathleen Collins.
