Our kids register for school on Aug. 5. Be sure you take them to the school and get the list of school supplies. This weekend is also the tax-free weekend in Tennessee. This is a great thing and will save you almost 10 percent on your purchases! Be sure to get whatever the kids need, from clothing to notebooks, this weekend!
We are very lucky to have several businesses in town that can help you with purchases you need for school. Be sure to check them out!
Check out the Senior Center in Sharon! Cards, games, dominoes and Ping-Pong are available! Why don’t you come meet the gang! There is also a calendar prepared at the center. If you need information about the Sharon Senior Center, please feel free to call 456-2213 and speak with Shirley Chappell.

Thought for the week: “Seven days without God will make one weak!”
Well, for today, that is all the news that is news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for our military, your neighbors, friends and family members and that God will have mercy on our land! May God bless you all! wcp 8-5-10
