Murray, Ky. — CMT officials announced recently the “CMT On Tour” 2010 Fall line-up, which will be headlined by Miranda Lambert and will also feature Eric Church and Josh Kelley.
The Miranda Lambert Revolution will be at Murray State’s Regional Special Events Center on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
Following a year full of impressive accolades and her first ever headlining tour, Ms. Lambert is prepared to hit the road again this fall as the headlining act for CMT On Tour: Miranda Lambert Revolution. When Ms. Lambert won top female honors for both the ACM and CMT Awards earlier this year, her first reaction was “shock” followed by gratefulness. It wasn’t until she hit the road again on her first headlining tour that the gravity of her astounding accomplishments hit home and an overwhelming sense of responsibility set in. That responsibility to deliver a live show even better than she was already known for is what fans will witness as Lambert headlines CMT’s ninth annual tour.
The nationwide tour including special guest Eric Church and introducing Josh Kelley, kicks off in New York on Sept. 29 and will cross 28 cities. Produced by AEG Live, previous CMT Tours have featured such superstars as Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Keith Urban.
“Having that Texas club circuit experience at an early age and also touring with some of the best in the business for several years, I know what it takes to bring it every night and give fans more than their money’s worth,” says Ms. Lambert. “The CMT Tour is a great way for me to thank fans for their support this year and show them I can live up to the honors.”
Church added, “I’m very excited to be on what I believe will be one of the best tours going out this fall. I’ve been on a lot of tours and this one is gonna be the heat! I love what Miranda does and we are gonna take the stage every night locked and cocked. The crowd better be ready for it, cause we are!”
