Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. The agenda includes consideration of options for an animal control building (consideration of bids submitted to remodel the facility at 1415 North Fifth St. or solicitation of bids for new construction); consideration of bids received for girls’ softball field upgrades and for the demolition of a structure at 515 Glendale St.; a request from Union City Nursing Home and Rehab for an easement on Bishop Street; and a request and recommendation for the installation of a Yield sign on Nelson Street at Rutherford Street.
The council will also hear grievances and/or complaints from the public and will consider bills and miscellaneous items.
The meeting is open to the public.
Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
