Poker run set for Aug. 21 in Union City

WCP 8.12.10 The Northwestern Tennessee Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) Chapter 4949 will hold their 11th Annual Joker’s Wild Poker Run and Bike Show on Saturday, Aug. 21 at Graham Park in Union City. Funds will be raised for the Ft. Campbell Fisher House.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and costs $20, which includes Poker Run, bike show, door prize and a meal. The first bike out will be at 10 a.m. and the last bike in will be at 3 p.m. Bike Show judging begins at 3 p.m., and winners will be announced at 4 p.m.
The prizes include $500 for the best hand and $100 for the worst hand. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and a raffle drawing for Abernathy’s gift cards and much more. A special raffle will be held for a Pitbull Motorcycle Lift.
Auction items include a Tennessee Titan’s football signed by Chris Johnson, the 2009 NFL Offensive Player of the Year. Football will include a photo and certificate of authenticity. There will also be a raffle for custom flame mailboxes by DeFew’s of Draffenville, Ky.
Also, tickets are on sale now to win a new Panther Arms AR-15 in .233 cal. Tickets are on sale at Abernathy’s Harley Davidson, L&A Firearms or see a H.O.G member.
CMA will serve free pancakes and coffee beginning at 8 a.m. T-shirts will be available the day of the event until they’re gone. Sizes available are medium, large and extra large.
