On Saturday Aug. 28, the Pilot Club of Dresden will host its annual Bicycle Rodeo. The rodeo will be held in front of the Harmon and Lucille McWherter Civic Center by Wilson Park. It is for children in grades K-4th grade. The Rodeo will begin at 10 a.m.
Children must bring their own bicycle and helmet to participate. Each child participating must fill out a registration form available at DES. At least one parent or legal guardian of the child must sign the form. Forms can be turned in to the Dresden Elementary School office. The Pilot Club will be teaching the children how to be safe with their bikes by running them through a few obstacle courses. This will be a fun filled morning with face painting and learning how to be safe with your bike.
At the end of the event, each participant will receive a free drink. The kids will also have a chance to win a few door prizes and have an opportunity to have their faces painted! The Pilot Club of Dresden looks forward to seeing your child at our bicycle rodeo!!
