Charles Michael “Jobey” Jobe, 65, of Fulton died 1:18 a.m. Aug. 10, 2010, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with Danny Wade and Lucas Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in Water Valley (Ky.) Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday.
The family requests that memorials be made to Fulton/South Fulton Relay for Life, 302 Carr St., Fulton, KY 42041.
He was born April 12, 1945, in Weakley County, son of Shirley (Melton) Jobe of Mayfield, Ky., and the late Rev. Charles V. “Garments” Jobe.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and had lived in Water Valley and Fulton all his life. He was a Baptist.
Survivors also include his daughter, Chris Edwards of Clarksville; his son, Rocky Jobe of Benton, Ky.; four grandchildren, Gage Jobe, Thomas Jobe and Cheyenne Henson, all of Benton, and Laken Thompson of Hardin, Ky.; and three brothers, Glynn Jobe of South Fulton, Steve Jobe of LaVergne and Mark Jobe of Wingo, Ky.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Jobe.
