TOUR DOMINO’S — The Union City 4-H Afterschool Club recently had the opportunity to tour the Domino’s Pizza facility in Union City. Christy Argo, a Domino’s employee, gave the 4-Hers an educational talk and allowed them to create their own personal pizzas. Domino’s Pizza has long been a supporter of 4-H. Each year they donate pizzas to the winning classrooms of the 4-H Club Participation Contest. 4-Hers compete in contests and wear green and white to 4-H club meetings throughout the school year in order to earn points for their clubs. At the end of the school year, the points are totaled and the club with the most points at each school is awarded a pizza party. Among those attending the tour were (front, from left) Dalton Morris, Matthew Ryder, Hope Kennedy, Grace Kennedy, (back) Miss Argo, Annie Townsend, Lee Townsend, Jonathan Ryder, Jermize Weddle, Lonna Kennedy, Danielle Morris and Alivia Morris.
