NASHVILLE (AP) — It’s time to save money on purchases like clothing, school and art supplies and computers.
The fifth annual sales tax holiday is today through Sunday in Tennessee.
There will be no sales tax applied to shirts, dresses, pants, coats, gloves and mittens, hats and caps, hosiery, neckties, belts, sneakers, shoes, scarves and uniforms whether athletic or non-athletic.
There is a maximum price of $100 per item to be exempt. Computers are exempt up to $1,500.Published in The Messenger 8.6.10
