Ag finance conference set for Aug. 4 at UT Martin

The ninth annual Mid-South Agricultural Finance Conference will be held Wednesday, Aug. 4 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Watkins Auditorium at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
There will be three featured speakers at the conference. David Kohl is an internationally-known speaker to farmers, lenders and agribusiness audience. Matt Roberts, from Ohio State University, is a nationally-known expert on grain and energy markets. Dr. Bob Young is the American Farm Bureau Federation chief economist.
Topics discussed will be economic conditions, credit risk, farm profitability and government policy.
