Volunteers are needed Saturday for the ongoing “Let’s Paint the Town” revitalization effort in the Twin Cities of Fulton and South Fulton.
Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce executive director Thea Vowell said there has been a good turnout of volunteers every Saturday but most of them are the same people and some new faces would be welcomed.
“If you haven’t had a chance to work, ask around. It’s a lot of fun and we usually finish up around noon, sometimes a little later,” she said.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering to paint Saturday is asked to sign up by calling the chamber office at (731) 479-7029 or by e-mailing the chamber at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteers will begin at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the Tennessee Pool Room and the old Dixon Antiques. Organizers said volunteers who are not able to arrive that early can arrive later if they desire.
The pool room facility will be open for restrooms and to provide a cool place for volunteers to eat.
