Bethel program hosts contest

Bethel University is seeking essays from instructors on the subject of “The Importance of Continuing Education for Educators.”
Entries, no longer than 500 words in length, must be received no later than Aug. 20.
The first-place entry will receive a Lenovo Thinkpad X-100 laptop and iPod Touch, valued at $700. Second place will receive a $250 VISA gift card; and third-place will receive a $150 VISA gift card.
Winners will be notified by email no later than Aug. 31.
The Bethel University Educator’s Essay Contest is open to all instructors over the age of 21 who are residents of Tennessee. Entries must be received in electronic format, and can be emailed to: essay@bethelu.edu.
