The following cases were disposed of July 20 and July 23 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• Billy J. Blackburn (503 Lindell St., Martin) — Schedule II controlled substance, promotion of manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, bound over to the grand jury.
• Zackary R. Cavness (920 East High St., Union City) — alcohol possession or consumption under age 21, informal adjustment, 50 hours of community service, write a three- to five-page paper on the dangers of underage alcohol, costs.
• Eric Choate (address not listed) — possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, contraband violation and possession of drug paraphernalia, waived to the grand jury.
• Donnie J. Cook (West Main Street, Hornbeak) — possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, 48 hours jail, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation,  $250 fine, costs.
• Steven G. Gossett (1705 Meadowlark Drive, Union City) — alcohol possession or consumption under age 21, informal adjustment, 50 hours of community service, write a three- to five-page paper on the dangers of underage alcohol, costs.
• Jim Hill (3296 North County Home Road, Union City) — public intoxication, 30 days jail suspended, time served; resisting arrest, 30 days jail suspended, fine, costs.
• Joshua Hooper (306 Harper St., Troy) — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and promoting methamphetamine manufacture, bound over to the grand jury.
• Pamela Jaramillo (705 Gaylord Road, Sharon) — possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, waived to the grand jury.
• Craig W. Menees (209 West Gibbs St., Union City) — resisting a stop, arrest or search, $50 fine, costs, 30 days jail suspended.
• Jeremy L. Perry (815 Lilac St., Union City) — domestic assault, 11 months and 29 days jail suspended except time served, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Quentila R. Taylor (2499 Juolson Road, Memphis) — contraband in a penal facility, waived to the grand jury.
• Christy L. Terry (3042 Cloverdale Road, Obion) — theft of merchandise/shoplifting, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $100 fine, costs, no restitution.
• Dawn D. Tubbs (1 Ora Goad Road, Dyer) — theft of merchandise/shoplifting, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• Mark A. Wilkins (1114 East College St., Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion.
• Dianne Young (1005 East Vine St., Union City) — theft of merchandise, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, $100 fine, costs, no restitution, barred from Dollar General.
• Anita G. Barner (702 North Division St., Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and initiation of meth within 1,000 feet of a school zone, bound over to the grand jury.
• Travis L. Fraley (410 North Division St. or 220 East Gibbs St., Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and initiation of meth within 1,000 feet of a school zone, bound over to the grand jury.
• Charles E. Jimerson (702 North Division St., Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and initiation of meth within 1,000 feet of a school zone, bound over to the grand jury.
• Thomas C. Morton (305 West Gibbs St., Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and initiation of meth within 1,000 feet of a school zone, bound over to the grand jury.
• Denise Willyard (711 South Sunswept Drive, Apt. 3, Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, bound over to the grand jury.
• Joseph L. Willyard (711 South Sunswept Drive, Apt. 3, Union City) — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and initiation of meth within 1,000 feet of a school zone, bound over to the grand jury.
