The Women’s Health Advisory Council of West Tennessee Healthcare is sponsoring Dignity Duds (Clothes for the Closets) throughout the month of July. Collection boxes will be set up at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and its affiliates.
Dignity Duds (Clothes for the Closets) is a mission that provides new clothing articles for victims of sexual and domestic abuse as well as patients that are in need of clothing before they leave the hospital. Throughout the month of July, West Tennessee Healthcare will be collecting new garments to stock the Dignity Closets in the Emergency Department and Pediatric Unit.
Both male and female clothes are desired and sizes ranging from toddlers to large adults will be greatly appreciated. Specific items needed are T-shirts, shorts, socks, and light-weight pants (scrubs, jogging pants, etc.).
