Crittendon reunion set for July 24
Descendants of Noah Crittendon will hold a reunion Saturday, July 24, at the Lamb Activity Center across from Bible Union Baptist and Cemetery. The gathering will start at 10 a.m. and a potluck lunch will be at noon.
Noah Crittendon was a long-time resident of the Hyndsver community. He raised 13 children to adulthood. He was married to Jo Anna Mann Crittendon and Laura Hardy Crittendon, who preceded him in death. His third and last wife was Maudie Colley Crittendon.
Crittendon’s parents, Ben and Elizabeth Crittendon, were also Hyndsver residents. Ben’s mother, Jane Crittendon Paschal, is the earliest Crittendon family. Members are buried at the Bible Union Cemetery.
All friends and relatives near and far are invited to come and join in this time of sharing family stories, old photographs, food and fellowship.
