Library to feature Moore

Andrew Moore will present a series of Musicales on Thursdays during August at the C. E. Weldon Public Library, 100 Main Street, Martin.
Moore will be playing pieces from his junior recital to be presented during the upcoming Fall Semester at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
The library is currently “hosting” one of the UTM Fine Arts Department’s Steinway Grand Pianos while the Fine Arts Building is being renovated.
Programs to be presented are:
• Aug. 5, 10 a.m.– Bach: Fantasia in C minor; Rachmaninoff: Prelude in D Major; Rachmaninoff: Moment Musical, Op. 16, No. 4
• Aug. 12, 10 a.m. – Haydn: Sonata in Eb Major, Hob. XVI: 52; I. Allegro moderato, II. Adagio, III.         Finale: Presto
• Aug. 26, 2 p.m. – Chopin: Ballade in Ab, Op. 47; Bartok: Rumanian Dance I, Op. 8a
Moore, from South Fulton, is a student of Elaine Harriss, Ph.D., Professor and Interim Chair of Music, University of Tennessee at Martin.
