Completed arrangements are being announced for Fred Dennis Marshall, 46, of Sallisaw, Okla., who died July 17, 2010, in Sallisaw. He was the father of Brent Marshall of Union City.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in Troy at Terrace Hill Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
He was born June 15, 1964, in Indianapolis, son of John Marshall of Acton, Ind., and Donna Jean (Clair) Dennie of Avon, Ind. He was married to the former Avis Roemisch, who survives. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a U.S. Army veteran. A Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he enjoyed woodworking and crafting. He was also a NASCAR racing fan.
He is also survived by another son, Josh Renick of Indianapolis; his daughter-in-law, Evelyn Marshall of Union City; his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Brian Lewis of Indianapolis; his brother, Chris Hodges of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Destiney Todd, Landon Todd, Summer Marshall and Kaylee Marshall, all of Union City; his stepmother, Jan Marshall of Acton; and his stepfather, Tom Dennie of Avon.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Hazel Marshall.
