A full day of 4-H fun is scheduled for Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The Tennessee OMK (Operation Military Kids) is open to all youth in grades 5-12.
The event is free and a parent or guardian is requested to attend the camp with the child, if possible.
The fun-filled day will include games, activities for both youth and adults, lunch and other fun things. Those attending should bring their swim suits and towels to participating in a couple of hours of water fun. Comfortable shoes and sunscreen are also “strongly advised.”
Registration for this event will be held through the county University of Tennessee Extension Service office. The local office may be contacted at 885-3742.
Participants should arrive at the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawk Field House by 9:30 a.m. to sign in; activities will begin at 10. Lunch will be from noon until 12:30 and will be followed by swimming from 1-3.
