Pennye Lynn Bramlett and Paul William Stroud, both of Union City, were recently united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony at Kiwanis Park in Union City.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Faye Bramlett of Ridgely. The groom is the son of Buddy and Rebecca Stroud of Union City and Ricky and Delphine Fitzpatrick of Canada.
The couple married in front of the fountain, with Steve Goodrich of Union City officiating.
The park was decorated in purple and black with white roses.
Laken Kirk of Hornbeak and Taylor Beth Stroud of Union City, daughter of the groom, served as junior bridesmaids. Laken wore a purple baby doll cut blouse with black slacks, while Taylor wore a pink chiffon dress. They carried small white rosebud bouquets.
Skyler Slaughter of Union City, son of the bride, was the best man. He wore khaki shorts and a purple striped polo and a white rose boutonniere. He held the wedding rings.
The groom wore a black button-down shirt with khaki shorts and a white rose boutonniere with baby’s breath and tulle.
The bride wore a casual purple and black princess cut blouse with black slack capris and carried a white rose bouquet adorned with baby’s breath, ribbon and tulle.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the park.
The wedding cake was teal and orange — in honor of the groom’s favorite team, the Miami Dolphins — and was decorated with wedding bells, doves and orange and teal roses.
The couple will reside in Union City.
