Masquerade Theater’s production Alice in Wonderland Posted: Thursday, July 15, 2010 5:57 am CHILDREN’S WORKSHOP — The Queen of Hearts, played by Anna Oliver (left), turns her back on Alice (Sarah Schlager) and the Mad Hater (Jamison Blackwell) during rehearsal for Masquerade Theater’s production of “Alice in Wonderland.” The double-casted play will open on July 23 with performances at 7:30 on July 23, 24, 30 and 31. Sunday matinees will be at 2 p.m. on July 25 and Aug. 1. The casts include local third- through sixth-graders who have been participating in Masquerade Theater’s Children’s Workshop. It is being directed by Jenny Virgin with David Houston serving as assistant director, Rita WInter as music director, Jared Hamlin as choreographer, Lori Suiter as costume and prop director and Bob Elderkin as technical director. The Queen of Hearts is being played by Mikayla Scillion, Farin Cloyd is Alice, and John Luke Hope has the part of the Mad Hater in the second cast.
