Completed arrangements are being announced for Aurelia (Vaught) Eckert, 76, of Plano, Texas, a former resident of Obion County, who died July 13, 2010, at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Plano.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating, assisted by the Rev. Stan Waldon. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Shane Scott, Tommy Logan, Rob Neal, Jim Harris, Bart White, David Hall, Danny Wall and Johnny Berner.
The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First United Methodist Church.
She was born June 27, 1934, in Obion County, daughter of the late Melvin Lee and Edna Louise (Dyle) Vaught. She had been the owner of the former Union City Travel Agency for 25 years and was a member of Union City First United Methodist Church. She had been attending Caster Road United Methodist Church in Plano.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Bill Braswell of Allen, Texas, and Gina Eckert and her husband, Jai Chinakonda, of Denver; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sabrina Eckert of Union City; and her brother and sister-in-law, Gerald Lynn and Dixie Vaught of Union City.
