UCES registration set

Registration at Union City Elementary School for the 2010-11 school year will follow this schedule Aug. 2:
• kindergarten students, 8 a.m.;
• third grade, 9 a.m.;
• first grade, 10 a.m.;
• fourth grade, 11 a.m.;
• second grade, 1 p.m.;
• fifth grade, 2 p.m.
Parents who need to register more than one child at the school may do so for both students at the time assigned to the grade of the youngest child, a spokesman said.
Registration day will be counted as an attendance day, so children who miss the Aug. 2 registration will be counted absent for that day.
