Thomas Dean Lewis, 65, of Union City died July 10, 2010, at his home.
Memorial services will be Friday at noon at First United Pentecostal Church at 1011 Edwards St. in Union City. The Rev. Hank Cook will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
He was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Union City, son of Dorothy Louise (Smith) Lewis of Dyersburg and the late James E. Lewis Sr. He married the former Sharon Denise Andrews Feb. 1, 1965. She survives.
He was a retired pastor of several Apostolic churches and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam.
Survivors also include two sons Carl Lewis of Yazoo City, Miss., and Steven Lewis of Brandon, Fla.; four daughters, Angela Jackman of Dyersburg, Sandy Peterson of Beverly Hills, Fla., Anita Conley of Clinton, Ky., and Tiffany Gillette of Cross City, Fla.; his sister, Carol Kehoe of Ripley; two brothers, James E. Lewis Jr. of Troy and Robert Lewis of Rolla, Mo.; 25 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily Conley.
