Larry Cherry, 53, of Dukedom, maintenance director for Tyson Foods Inc. in Union City, died July 9, 2010, at his home.
Services were set for 1 p.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. Danny Walker officiating. Burial was to follow in Collier’s Cemetery near Martin.
Pallbearers were to be Jason Klotz, Jeff Klotz, Sam Dluzniewski, Emery Bradley, Randy Dodd and David Hauhe.
He was born Feb. 9, 1957, in Fulton, son of the late Margaret (Marcum) and Eugene W. Cherry Sr. He was married to the former Linda Henderson, who survives, and was a member of Liberty Worship Center in South Fulton.
Survivors also include two stepsons, Jason Klotz of Fulton and Jeff Klotz of Dukedom; his daughter, Tiffany Rother of Dresden; his brother, Eugene W. Cherry Jr. of Martin; three sisters, Kathryn Moss of Martin, Joyce Elliott of Milan and Paula Arrington of Jackson; and two grandchildren, Abigail Rother and Brice Rother.
