Clydene Rose Posted: Friday, July 9, 2010 11:34 am The Messenger, July 9, 2010 Completed arrangements are being announced for Clydene B. Rose, 85, of Fulton. She died 4:34 a.m. July 8, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following there in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. She was born June 21, 1925, in Arlington, Ky., daughter of the late Jim and Dessie (Tharp) Burgess. She was married to Thomas W. Rose Dec. 29, 1944, in Mayfield, Ky. He survives. She had lived in this area most of her life and was a homemaker and a member of Fulton First Baptist Church. Survivors also include two sons and her daughter-in-law, Philip R. and Teresa Rose of Fulton and Timothy W. Rose of Lake Mary, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Shay Lock of Clinton, Ky., Heather Rose of Los Angeles, Robby Rose, Lauren Rose and Casey Rose, all of Martin, Amy Rose, David Rose and Sam Rose, all of Fulton, and Emily Rose Jones of South Fulton; and her brother, John Burgess of Mayfield, Ky. She was also preceded in death by her son, David M. Rose; two brothers, Earl Burgess and James Burgess; and two sisters, Thelma Dean and Irene Crafton.
