Bonita Kay “Bonnie” (Banks) Morrs, 52, of Wingo, Ky., sister of Randall Banks of Fulton, died July 7, 2010, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky.
Services will be noon Saturday at St. James AME Church in Mayfield, with burial following there in St. Paul Cemetery.
Friends may call at Mason’s Memorial Chapel in Mayfield 6-8 this evening.
She was retired and was an African Methodist Episcopal by faith.
Survivors also include her mother, Barbara Banks of Wingo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Omar Gonzalez of Wingo and Maurita and Craig Brown of Mayfield; her son, John Banks of Wingo; three other brothers, Charles Harris and Maurice Banks, both of Wingo, and Jimmy Harper of Paris; two sisters, Cynthia Ray and Willie Mae Copeland, both of Paris; two grandchildren, Jaden West and Jonah Gonzalez; her uncle, Louis Kelley of Pryorsburg; her sister-in-law, Sabrina Banks of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Brown; her father, J.C. Banks; her grandparents, John and Willie Mae Kelley; two brothers; and her grandson.
