On June 27, we sang “Happy Birthday” to Alli Moss, Jerry Ray and myself. Then we sang “On Jordan’s Stormy Banks,” “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder,” Down at the Cross and Just a Closer Walk With Thee. Bro. Lowell played guitar and sang, “Jesus King For All Time.”
Bro. Lowell preached from Philippians 1:21, 3:13. We need to make Jesus the center of our life. We closed with song of invitation, “Amazing Grace.” We had five children saved at our Vacation Bible School. The five came up to show their love to our Jesus.
On Sunday night, we had a lovely service. We sang, “I’ll Meet You in the Morning,” “Victory in Jesus” and “When We All Get to Heaven.” Bro. Lowell played and sang, “It Is No Secret What God Can Do.” He preached from Luke 20:20-26 and James 1:13. We closed in prayer.
All last week we had Vacation Bible School. We had so many young ones come to seek Jesus. We need to praise our Lord.
On June 30, we sang, “Mansion Over the Hilltop,” “Shall We Gather at the River” and “There’s a Land That Is Fairer Than Day.” Bro. Lowell taught from Ephesians 15:16-18. We closed in prayer.
We had a great day in our Lord on the Fourth of July. We sang, “America the Beautiful,” Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus,” “My Country Tis of Thee” and “Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory.” Bro. Lowell played and sang, “Farther Along.”
Bro. Lowell preached on freedom. Romans 1:8; 5:6-8, Galations 5:13 and Exodus 12. Song of invitation was, “Jesus Paid It All.”
God bless all until next week. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I will have a calendar soon to wish all a Happy Birthday and Anniversary. Have a great week in our Lord. wcp 7-8-10
