J.C. and Hazel Ursery

J.C. and Hazel Ursery of Troy recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The couple was honored with a meal and a special “wedding cake” at Boyette’s Dining Room at Reelfoot Lake.
They were married May 14, 1960. The groom, who has been employed at Volunteer Express in Dresden, is the son of the late James Clyde and Clara Mae Ursery of Rives. The bride is the daughter of the late R.L. and Ora Lee Baker of Union City. They are members of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rives.
Enjoying the celebration with them were their sons and their families, James and Debbie Ursery and Mike and Sissy Ursery and Jessie, all of Troy, and David and Tammy Ursery of Union City; and their grandchildren and their families, Deanna and Clint Wilson of Union City and Dave and Alanda Ursery and Jayce, plus Dara and Jeremy Mathis and Levi and Rea, all of Clinton, Ky.
Unable to attend but sending good wishes were their sons and their families, Jeff and Stefanie Ursery and Addison of Union City and Keith and Sue Ursery and Kaitlyn and Olivia of Pennsylvania.
