UC council to meet Posted: Monday, July 5, 2010 2:43 pm The Messenger, July 5, 2010 Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday evening in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. The agenda includes the adoption of the Redflex contract amendment; consideration of an asphalt bid received by Ford Construction Co.; consideration of the adoption of job descriptions for the Street Department (Light Equipment Operator and Heavy Equipment Operator) and the Water/Sewer Department (Light Equipment Operator and Heavy Equipment Operator); authorization to solicit bids for the remodeling of property at 1415 North First St.; authorization to terminate the lease with Sara Lee at 1415 North First St., effective Aug. 31; consideration of a request for street closing on Nash Street in front of the park on Aug. 7 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; receiving of the minutes of the Planning Commission from June 17. The council will also hear grievances and/or complaints from the public and will receive the Mayor’s report. The meeting is open to the public. Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month. |
