| SLIPPING AND SLIDING – Mason Johns, 6, watches from the sidelines as his friend Tyler Washam, 7, dives face first down a water slide set up behind First Baptist church in Martin on Tuesday. The “Water Day” is a joint effort between the church’s children ministry and Christian Wee Learn to give local children summer fun. The annual event caters to school children in grades three through five. The two groups are planning another event this summer for school children.
