Charles Thomas Yeargin, 80, of Greenfield, died June 27, 2010, at Weakley County Nursing Home, Dresden.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Hermon Methodist Church with Dr. Russel Morrow in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the church cemetery with Williams Funeral Home of Greenfield in charge of arrangements.
Yeargin was born Jan. 8, 1930, son of the late Harry and Odell Wren Yeargin. He was a farmer and attended Mt. Hermon Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Magdaline Yeargin of Greenfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Janie Yeargin of Greenfield; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Billy Watson of North Augusta, S.C.; a son-in-law, Derrell Holt of Michigan; a sister, Christine Rhodes of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Jay and Alice Ann Yeargin of Greenfield, Brooks and Blythe Watson and Brad and Lori Watson, all of South Carolina; Tim Holt of Missouri and Kellie Holt Britt of Jackson; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Yeargin Holt and a brother, Bobby Yeargin.
