Senior center events set

Obion County Senior Citizens Center has announced the following activities for July 5-9 at the Eddie Cox Senior Center in Union City.
Monday: The center will be closed in observance of Independence Day.
Tuesday: At the center, Cinch and Rook will be played 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The group will go shopping at 9. Bridge will be played 1-4 p.m.
Wednesday: At the center, Cinch will be played 8 a.m.-4 p.m. A SilverSneakers® exercise class will be held 11-noon. Mahjongg will be played 1-4 p.m.
Thursday: Wii games will be held 8-11 a.m. Bridge will be played 12:30-4 p.m. A senior social will be held 7-10 p.m. The cost will be $5 at the door. Concessions will be available to benefit senior programs. The Larry Frye Band will perform.
Friday: At the center, shuffleboard will be played at 8 a.m. Line dancing will begin at 10.
