Billy McClain, 68, of Hickman, Ky., died June 28, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Church of Jesus Christ in Hickman, with the Rev. Billy Uzzle officiating. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church 6-8 p.m. today and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of services.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan T. West, Chris Kimmons, Charles Roberts, Bruce Davis, Michael Ayers and Scott Baker.
Strong Funeral Home in Hickman is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Aug. 12, 1941, in Phillipy and was a retired employee of the Lake County Highway Department. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ in Hickman.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly McClain; two sons, Don Glen McClain of Hickman and Billy Ray McClain of Hartford, Ky.; his daughter, Amy Hudson of Hickman; three brothers, Robert McClain of Shawtown, Kenneth McClain of Ringley and Wayne McClain of Arkansas; two sisters, Shirley Doyle of Tiptonville and Joyce Magahest of McKenzie; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary McClain.
