Obion meet slated

Obion mayor and councilmen will meet 5 p.m. today at City Hall in called session for a second reading of the 2011 budget and a first reading of gas rates, water and sewer rates, sanitation rates and property tax rates; to amend the 2010 budget; to open bids on installing a new gas line; and for a second reading of an ordinance to de-annex certain lands generally located in the northwest area of the town.
The meeting will be open to the public.
