Theft reported

Gene Reed of Martin, owner of B&R Coin Laundry, 213 North Second St., informed the Union City Police Department that someone had burglarized the business between 1 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The change machine was broken into and cash was stolen. The machine was damaged beyond repair, the report stated. The estimated replacement cost is $2,700.
