Completed arrangements are being announced for Dana (Caldwell) Woody, 72, of the Boxelder community in Annona, Texas, who died June 23, 2010, at her home. She was a former resident of this area and was the mother and mother-in-law of Scott Caldwell and Patricia Woody of the Elbridge community and Alan Kent and Heather Woody of Union City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Troy United Methodist Church, with burial following in the Mount Moriah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 4-6 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Blake Crigger, Zackary Woody, Colton Woody, Trey Woody, Matt Abernathy and Brad Woody. Honorary pallbearer will be Bart Woody.
Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 10, 1938, in Troy, daughter of the late Rupert and Barnett (Leathers) Caldwell. She was the wife of Bobby Woody of Annona and was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee who had worked in Troy.
Survivors also include another son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Ray and Dianne Woody of Annona; her daughter and son-in-law, Vicky Jane (Woody) and James Crigger of Franklin; six grandchildren, Alan Blakely Crigger, Zachary McGuire Woody, Dana Brooke Crigger, Colton Scott Woody, Bobby Ray “Tray” Woody III and Elizabeth Alan Woody; and her brother, Rupert Timothy Caldwell of Jourdantown, Texas.
