Sandra Flowers Posted: Thursday, June 24, 2010 12:51 pm The Messenger, June 24, 2010 Completed arrangements are being announced for Sandra Joyce Flowers, 47, of Troy, who died June 22, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Troy, with the Rev. Terry Council and B.J. Phillips officiating. Burial will follow there in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry M. Flowers, Robby Wenzler, Ben Walsh, Bruce Strain, Bailey Flowers and Brent Flowers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and Zach McDaniel, Michael Flowers, Lummie Flowers, Jimmy Eaves and Bobby Eaves. Friends may call at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy 5-8 p.m. Friday. The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope or Blessed Hope Baptist Church. She was born May 7, 1963, in Union City, daughter of Barbara Ann (Brown) Flowers of Troy and the late Clumbos Leon Flowers. She had been employed at Tyson Foods in Union City as a line worker and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Survivors also include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyle and Paula Flowers of Union City, Larry and Joyce Flowers of Fulton and Donnie and Stephanie Kay Flowers of Troy; six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Nancy and Larry Mitchell of Hornbeak, Bobbie Ann and William Sanford of Obion, Carol and Eric Walsh of Spokane, Wash., and Diane and Bill Strain, Linda Flowers and Kathy Flowers, all of Troy; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin J. and Anna W. Brown and Silas Leon and Viola Flowers; and her nephew, Stephen McDaniel.
