Randall Gene Dutton, 70, of Obion died June 23, 2010, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He had been a patient there since Sunday after being involved in a motorcycle accident that day near his home.
No services are planned, at his request.
He was born May 28, 1940, son of the late Rufus Clarence and Lorine (Dick) Dutton. He had been married to Marilynn Dutton for 46 years. She survives.
He was retired.
Survivors also include his son, Chris Dutton of Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughters, Deanna Petty of Martin and Tamara Dutton of Cleveland, Tenn.; three grandsons, Josh Petty and Jordon Petty, both of Martin, and Jesse Grissom of Cleveland, Tenn.; five great-grandchildren, Zacary Dunn, Alexus Jade Dunn, Kali Long, Drake Grissom and Mason Gauge Petty; four brothers, Wilson Dutton of Hornbeak, Jack Dutton and Richard Dutton, both of Union City, and Clarence Dutton of Troy; his sister, Brenda Bolles of North Muskegon, Mich.; his aunt, Pauline Carpenter of Hobart, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Marie Dutton; and four sisters, Violet Dutton, Rita Dutton, Mary Dutton and Rhonda Dutton.
