Freedom Fest planned

Residents of Obion are inviting their neighbors throughout the area to Saturdays “Freedom Fest” celebration at Obion Indian Park from 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
Events will kick off with a pet show at 9 and an antique tractor and engine show at 9:30.
At 10, there will be a “casual” beauty review, with the “Tractor Parade of Power” set for 11.
A patriotic parade will wind along the street at 1 p.m. and a gospel singing will begin at 4, followed by a veterans’ salute at 5 and music by the Larry Fry Band at 6:30.
There will be a $100 drawing at 10 to wrap up the fun.
