Two Obion County men have died after separate accidents this week.
An Obion man has died from injuries sustained in an accident on Sunday.
Randall G. Dutton, 70, of Bud Barker Road, was traveling southbound on his 2005 Harley-Davidson XL1 on Bud Barker Road around 3 p.m. Sunday and was negotiating a curve to the right when he was struck by a 1994 GMC pickup driven by Clayton J. Mahan, 52, of Bud Barker Road, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. (See related obituary on Page 12.)
Mahan was traveling west out of a private drive attempting to make a right turn onto Bud Barker Road and crossed the center line striking the motorcycle. After the impact, Dutton’s motorcycle exited the westbound edge of the roadway and traveled down an embankment and came to final rest.
According to the report, Mahan then backed into a private drive and parked.
Dutton was airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, according to his brother, Richard Dutton. Randall Dutton died there at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday.

He said Short was riding with several friends when he tried to negotiate climbing a steep bank to get out of the creek. His is ATV flipped over backwards on top of him.
