Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Wade

GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY — Hugh and Winona Wade of Union City recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 20, 1960, by the Rev. James P. Irion at First Methodist Church in Paris. She is the daughter of the late Henry Lawrence and Blanche Tune of Union City. He is the son of the late Hubert and Evelyn Wade of Union City. They retired in May 2004 and closed their business, Hugh Wade’s Military Surplus. They have two sons, Scot Hugh Wade and his wife, Natalie, of Chattanooga, and Robert K. Wade of Union City; and a daughter, Shane Hala Burnett and her husband, David, of Union City. They have five grandchildren.
